"Alternative Source, headed by Fred Holliday, not only did a poor job on my home, not only did not do everything that I paid for, but also outright stole our money, causing a $37,000 lien to be placed against our home. He was smooth and convincing. He was working in new construction on the northshore, and in my neighborhood alone, there are three other homes that he did the same thing to. I have since heard that he has moved on to work in New Orleans East. Be forewarned. I am pressing charges against this man currently. My raised home has two concrete piers with NOTHING on them. Many of the other piers have beams crossing them, but not actually resting on the pier. The load from the second floor is coming down with improper support and sagging resulting all over. There is a long list of other misdone deeds. Then, of course, he didn't even finish the work. He cancelled his insurance policy two days after closing the deal with us and our bank, and he never supplied us with new policy information. We have been burned all over by this man!
